Welcome to the Children’s Literature Review! Not sure what else there is to read beyond Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling? Looking for adventure or a spy novel for a middle school reader? Want to know about the latest books by favorite authors like Lois Lowry, Garth Nix, Anthony Horowitz, Sharon Creech and Cornelia Funke? This is the place for everyone from early readers to struggling readers.

Each review has a specific overview of the book with sections written especially for kids, parents and teachers. You can search reviews by author or look at set of books based on a technical or interest level. The technical level refers to the reading level of an independent reader capable of reading the book and the interest level refers to the literacy activity interest around the book, meaning everything from a reader who would enjoy either listening to the book as a read aloud or reading the book on their own.
